Because your wellness journey matters, we strive to provide comprehensive, personalized care that nurtures your body, mind, and spirit. We believe in making healthcare a collaborative, empowering experience.
Hi, I'm Jaquelyn.
#Boymom life with two teens and one mischievous black lab — never a dull (or quiet) moment
Between sports practices, band performances, play rehearsals, and Mack — our black lab rescue with an unrivaled talent for chewing absolutely everything — I’m reminded daily that balance doesn’t mean perfect. It’s about finding laughter, love, and presence amid the beautiful chaos (and occasionally rescuing a shoe or two). That same philosophy guides my work in the clinic — helping others find steadiness, joy, and wellness in the rhythm of real life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine in which very fine needles are inserted at specific points on the body. It aims to restore balance and promote the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Many people seek acupuncture for holistic wellness, hormone balance, pain relief, and more.
When you receive acupuncture, your nervous system responds by releasing endorphins and other neurochemicals that help regulate pain, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and influence the body’s physiological systems. At the same time, acupuncture may improve energy flow (sometimes referred to as “Qi” in TCM) and support the body’s ability to reset, relax, and repair.
Most clients describe the sensation of acupuncture needles as a mild tingling, gentle pressure, or a subtle “zing” rather than a sharp pain. Because the needles used are extremely fine and placed by a licensed practitioner, discomfort is minimal for the vast majority of people. If you have a low pain tolerance or are nervous, we’ll adjust the technique to ensure the experience is comfortable and relaxing.
Yes — many clinical studies and patient experiences show that acupuncture can be effective for a range of conditions, especially for pain relief (e.g., back pain or shoulder pain), stress regulation, hormone balance, and more. That said, every individual is unique: results may vary depending on the condition, how long it’s been present, your overall health, and how consistent your treatments are. At our practice, we collaborate with you to create a personalized plan to maximise the benefit.
Acupuncture can treat a wide variety of health issues. At our clinic we commonly help with conditions such as:

Headaches and migraines

And much more — if you have a specific concern, we’re happy to talk about whether acupuncture is a good fit for you.
